Philosophy
I believe in a world where business is a force for good. But, a lot of good ideas that the world really needs are dying at organizations stuck in the quicksand between strategy and execution.
I envision a world where organizations are designed differently right from the start. The foundation for my approach to startup operations is a view that a successful business is fundamentally about delivering value and that our means of delivering value is the people in our company.
People - in relationships - are the heartbeat of your organization and there are two types of relationships we need to pay attention to:
• Relationships to each other (Human Chemistry)
• Relationships to systems and supports (Interactions & Environment)
I call this organizational chemistry.
What we’ll do:
Successful startup operations balances Momentum and Maturity with the current context. Momentum is how people are working together and why they do the work.
We’ll strive for incremental wins because people like to win and once they do, they will keep winning.
Alongside of this Momentum we’ll quietly cultivate organizational capabilities that prepare us for each next win. This way as the big wins arrive, your systems, and people, are ready to handle them.
